mod_perl 1.99.12 (used for metadot)

perl Makefile.PL APACHE_SRC=/usr/local/src/httpd_2.0.48/src MP_AP_PREFIX=/usr/local/apache2/ DO_HTTPD=1 USE_APACI=1 EVERYTHING=1 USE_DSO=1

mod_perl dso library will be built as mod_perl.so
mod_perl static library will be built as mod_perl.a
You'll need to add the following to httpd.conf:
LoadModule perl_module modules/mod_perl.so
